Dear Members of the ECPD International Council,

Pursuant to Articles 7 and 8 of the Statute of the European Centre for Peace and Development of University for Peace est. by the United Nations, I hereby convene the 77th Session of the ECPD International Council to be held on May 17th, 2025 at 11 AM (CET) at the ECPD Headquarters in Belgrade, with the following Agenda:

1)              Approval of the Agenda of the 77th Session of the ECPD International Council
(to be reported by: Prof. Dr. Jonathan Bradley);

2)             The Legacy of a World Luminary: Remembering Federico Mayor
(to be reported by: Prof. Dr. Roberto Savio);

3)             Summary of the ECPD Activities (June 2024-June 2025):

§     Recent and new educational initiatives, including the preparations for organizing the International Conference „Beyond the Euro-Mediterranean Migration Crisis – Issues, Challenges and Opportunities“ and seminars on „Marketing and Communications“ (to be reported by: Academician Prof. Dr Paskal Milo/Prof. Dr Christo Kaftandjiev);

§     ECPD traditional international summer schools, training courses, and seminars in the field of Health, Medical and Biomedical Studies

(to be reported by: Dr Melita Vujnović);

§     Recent cooperative activities with respective Italian, Finnish, French, UK, and other institutions
(to be reported by: Prof. Dr Paolo Sabbatini/Prof. Dr Tauno Kekale/Prof. Ding Ning);

§     Cooperation with the EUPeace Network (to be reported by: Prof. Dr Jonathan Bradley);

§     Continuation of the preparation of the EU-Western Balkans projects

§     Cooperation with respective USA institutions, including the Kentucky University and Emporia State University (to be reported by: Prof. Dr Brian Beckham/Prof. Dr Andrew Smith), Canadian institutions, including the PAX Research Center of the Americas (to be reported by: Prof. Dr Laurence Hewick); institutions from Turkish World (including Turkey, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Azerbeijian and Georgia) (to be reported by: Prof. Dr Hakan Yalap); institutions from the Middle East (to be reported by: Prof. Dr Gideon Greif);

§     Information on the progress of the Euro-Asian Bridges for Peace Project:

§     Cooperation with respective Malaysian institutions, including a dual degree MBA program with Perdana University (Belgrade/Kuala Lumpur) and Gual Periok Foundation

§     Establishment of the International Chair of Buddhist Studies

§     Cooperation with respective Chinese institutions on the joint programs to be conducted in Europe, including the Shanghai Institute of Applied Technology, Nanjing University, etc.

Announcement

Evropski centar za mir i razvoj Univerziteta za mir UN obaveštava da su Postdoktorski istraživački projekat i Izveštaj o oceni disertacije Gordane Petruševske pod naslovom „Traditional vs. Digital Marketing” stavljeni na uvid javnosti u Sekretarijatu ECPD (Beograd, Terazije 41), 15 dana od 07.05.2025. godine.
The European Center for Peace and Development of the UN University for Peace informs that the Master Thesis and the Report on evaluation of the Thesis of Katarina Dmitrović entitled “Continuous Improvement in the Ivory Tower: Leveraging Kaizen to enhance University Operations and Educational Quality” was made available to the public at the ECPD RIDS Office (Skopje, Naum Naumovski Borce 50/2–16) and ECPD Secretariat (Belgrade, Terazije 41), 15 days from 6.5.2024. godine.
09.01.2024. European Center for Peace and Development of the University for Peace and Development est. by the United Nations (ECPD) announce Concours for the selection of teachers for the field of Public Management. Requirements: scientific degree Doctorate of science in a scientific field for which appropriate scientific papers are chosen. Along with the written application, candidate submits: CV, birth certificate, master's and doctoral diplomas, doctoral dissertation and an integral list of scientific works is made avaliable to the public opinion at the ECPD Secretariat, Belgrade, Terazije 41, within 15 days from the date of publication.
09.01.2024. Evropski centar za mir i razvoj Univerziteta za mir Ujedinjenih nacija (ECPD) raspisuje Konkurs za izbor nastavnika za oblasti Public Management. Uslovi: naučni stepen doktorat nauka iz naučne oblasti za koju se bira i odgovarajući naučni radovi. Uz pismenu prijavu kandidat prilaže: CV, izvod iz matične knjige rođenih, diplome o magistraturi i doktoratu, doktorsku disertaciju i integralni spisak naučnih radova − ECPD, Beograd, Terazije 41, u roku od 15 dana od dana objavljivanja.
